Downloading Profiles and Alleles

The following workflow guides you through downloading the profile and allele files from Enterobase. This assumes that you have an Enterobase account:

Start by navigating to the Enterobase Escherichia coli download page.

Download Profile

1. Click the Download ST profiles for scheme button.
2. Save the file to a directory of your choice.
3. Extract the profile from the .gz archive.

Download Alleles

1. Click the Filter/Clear Filters button.
2. Select Description from the drop-down menu.
3. Enter Shiga in the Contains text box.
4. Click Filter.
5. Select the top four entries (e.g. Locus tag ECs1205 (-)).
6. Click the Download alleles for selected loci button.
7. Save the files to a directory of your choice.
8. Extract the alleles from the .gz archives.
